Interphase Audio Octa Rack 500

The Interphase Audio Octa Rack 500 gives you a high-performance home for any Octa, 51x, or 500 module. In fact, it helps every compatible module deliver clearer, more detailed sound.

Great audio starts with stable power. Therefore, the Octa Rack platform uses proven power designs and technology from the Ark console, a desk known for its exceptional sound quality. As a result, your modules receive the kind of power they need to perform at their best.

Each Octa slot has its own dedicated regulators and filters. These circuits supply clean ±24V power to every Octa module and reduce unwanted noise before it can affect the signal. Moreover, the Octa Rack 500 adds dedicated power supplies, regulators, and filters for the ±16V rails. This means every 500-series module also gets clean, reliable power.

Because the rack removes power-line interference, your audio stays open and transparent. In addition, the cleaner supply helps reduce hum, hiss, and distortion, which can be common in less refined racks. Consequently, your 500, 51x, and Octa modules can sound better in the Octa Rack 500 than in many other rack systems.

The motherboard uses 18-pin EDAC connectors. These connectors work with standard 15-pin 500-series modules as well. Furthermore, the extra pins provide the ±24V rails, allowing Octa modules to run at a higher voltage. This higher operating voltage supports improved sound quality and greater performance headroom.
