The Remic RE7200 RESHAPE is a dual-diaphragm high definition condenser microphone designed for live productions. It delivers a natural sound with fast transient response. It captures the finest and most delicate overtones of the instrument with an astonishing accuracy. The supercardioid polar pattern makes the microphone suitable for live productions where extra channel separation is needed.
With a supercardioid polar pattern, the REMIC RE7200 RESHAPE microphone is recommended for live productions requiring individual amplification of each instrument. For example as arena productions with crossover repertoire as well as rock and pop concerts. The microphone is feedback resistant and is designed to isolate against bleed from nearby instruments and ambient noise. The microphone is designed to capture an honest impression of the individual instrument. The sound captured is perceived as even and very natural sound.
The REMIC RE7200 RESHAPE is designed as an instrument microphone for use on strings (violin, viola, cello, double bass) as well as brass instruments. A variety of mounts for strings and brass instruments are available as well as a pencil holder mount, which allows you to use the microphone with a microphone clamp on a standard microphone stand.
The REMIC RESHAPE product series is designed for customers, who need the flexibility to use the microphone with several different instruments such as rental companies, concert halls, sound engineers and multi-instrumentalists. The REMIC RESHAPE product series design is based on years of collected customer feedback from the use of the original REMIC instrument specific microphones for violin, viola, cello, double bass and brass instruments.
The demand for a product series with the flexibility to use the microphones on different instruments led to a new additional very flexible product series, which literally lets you “reshape” your REMIC by replacing the mount part with a mount for a different instrument. The REMIC RESHAPE series is developed without compromising the instrument specific aspect, which is the philosophy, which REMIC MICROPHONES was founded on. The microphone needs 48V of phantom power.
The RESHAPE Microphones and Mounts allow for full Flexibility with Instrument specific Aspects:
1 x RE7200 microphone with cotton covered cable (2 meters) and XLR connector.
1 x Cable holder (grommet) for use with the violin mount, viola mount and pencil holder.
